Please read the explanation below of how our rates are determined, along with the example scenarios. Then click on the link to download our brochure which contains all the information necessary to determine what the exact monthly cost would be for you or your loved one.
The total monthly cost is a combination of the Room Rate, which includes all standard amenities (Housekeeping, Laundry, etc.), 3 meals a day plus snacks, planned activities, assistance managing medical appointments, and with arranging transportation, and more. Plus the cost of care and assistance as determined using our “Level of Care Assessment Tool.” The Assessment Tool uses a points scale to determine care costs based on the individual needs of each resident. The tool works by assigning a point value to various assistance/care items. The points are then added together to determine the addition care costs, if any.
For example, an individual whom is able to independently take care of all their own personal care needs, would score a zero on the Level of Care Assessment. Their total monthly cost would be the Room Rate only, as there would be no additional care costs.
By contrast however, an individual who needs complete assistance with a full range of activities, dressing, bathing, toileting, mobility, transferring, etc, would have a score of over 24 points on the Level of Care Assessment, putting them in the highest care rate tier. For this individual, their total monthly cost would be the Room Rate plus the Level of Care rate for that tier.
